Ach famita, I can sympathize with you except I get raging sinus headaches and I have to try to sleep sitting up, hoping that my legs don't swell up too much. (YES LADIES a guy who RETAINS water like there's no tomorrow- and no apparent reason)

I don't know when I'll find out the results gabriel. The specialist ordered the test and I don't see him again until Jan. I see my primary next week, but I don't think he'll know anything. I'd like to think if there was anything I needed to know someone would alert me. famita - I'm glad you're finding relief. No sleep is just horrible.

I have sinus problems too and I am going to try something I read in the paper this morning. It's a sinus irrigation system that you can use several times a day if necessary. I think it's called SinuCare, not sure. It costs about twenty dollars and the man who wrote about it said that he seldom has to go to the doctor for sinus infections since buying it. It wasn't an advertisement, which I always disregard, but a column that a doctor writes with suggestions. If I get one, I'll let you all know what I think.

The nursing home my Baba is in was hit with a bad flu. Many patients and staff we hit pretty bad. My baba seems to have pulled through the worst and is now able to eat again in the dining room! She's one tough little Baba

Bare (bear?) with me if you've already read this, but I'm requesting prayers today for my 3 kids who are driving from MA to OH for Thanksgiving. Thanks!

    Gutmutter: Prayers on the way!!

*threadjack*I found this pic of a hedgehog. Look at those little tiny paws(?) hands/feet (?). What are they called? I've seen photos of them swimming in a tub. Does Henri swim?*threadjack*

    Glad they are safe.

Well after almost 4 months, we finally have a house that looks like a home!
We finished the painting (except for our room which is going to wait until Jan)
and we hung pictures, set out the knick knacks (now I have to dust again) and got rid of all the boxes. Our living room looks like a living room. Same for the dining room and its nice to have my pictures and paintings and stuff back up on the walls. Looks more like a home now than a storage facility and we actually got the car IN the carport last night too.

Next on the list is drapes and a sofa as right now the living room has a wing chair and a rocking chair, 2 bench window seats and a piano. But even without the sofa, it looks cozy.

Company arrives tomorrow. today I have to actually clean bathrooms and mop floors and vaccum. As we didn't get finished until 9 last night, I figured the floors could wait until tosay and I'm really hoping the bathroom fairies came in the night to clean those.

It's just so nice to have my "stuff" out again and not stare at blank walls.

Since my hubby nad I have lost so many family members, its nice to have those things passed on to us and pictures of those loved ones out where we can see them. Everything I have like that, has strong feelings tied to it.

I know they are just "things", but they are things that belonged to someone I love and now I can look at the photos and things and feel a connection again to those people.

So that is my great news. Now I have to go to the grocery store today so that is not great news. UGH.

Glad your house is coming along so nicely. I'm impressed with how much you have accomplished in such a short time. We've been in our house less than two years and are facing another move after the first of the year. I'll try to keep you in mind as inspiration.
