I finally found the relationship posts (they were back quite a few pages). You go girl! I never read the relationship thread seeing as how I don't have a relationship. Glad things are going so well for you in that area to balance the challenges you're facing.

An update on my eyelash tinting. I don't think I'd bother again. It really didn't take to my lower lashes much and those are the ones that are blonder and find and disapear. The girl said if I wasn't happy I could come back and she'd touch-up for free. I should have figured out that means it doesnt' work well. I actually put mascara on yesterday for a family photo and it looked better. :shrug
:lol All the more reason to read them---they'll make you wonder what on earth anyone thinks you are missing! :) I read them when I'm irritated with my S.O. or family--they make our issues look trivial!Quote:

I think her inhaler is proventil?? Anyway, it works well for her and I've had it prescribed or me when I have bronchitis and it makes such a huge difference in your breathing. Really opens up the passages.
So that is very good news indeed. Well, I'm sorry you have asthma, but at least its not something worse and finding out is so much better than having something and not knowing what you have. I spent 2 years of my life like that. Knowin something was wrong, but not knowing what and being sent to different dr. I think when you finally get a diagnosis, any diagnosis, its a relief because then they know what to do about it.
Hope you don't have any more problems. Do you think yours was maybe allergy related? You said you had it for 3 months and then its been better the last couple weeks and it could be that pollen and stuff is finally gone now that cooler weather is here.
I don't know if we'll ever know what caused it. It started up literally over night after returning from Africa and having a herceptin treatment. I guess one way to find out would be to go back on herceptin and see if it flares up again. I do have an inhaler (Albuterol) that I'm not shy to use if I need it.

Well its good that you can treat it easily and maybe you will never have another episode. I know this is a relief to find out tho and I'm glad you are ok and its not something else.

Gut, I'm glad to hear you were able to find someone who could tell you what was wrong!
Seems that the doctors were all looking for something other than the obvious. Glad it is something easily treatable. My son has allergy-triggered asthma and I heard a pretty well respected allergist once say that allergies can flare up any time in your life. He said if you think of your immune system like a bucket, it can get full of invaders and it takes just one thing to cause it to overflow and boom - you have an allergy; maybe to something new, maybe to something that never bothered you before.
You'll know next summer/fall if it is seasonal. My son's flares up in the spring, fall, if he eats certain food additives and when he laughs too hard. He used to be on a daily med. but now just uses claritin in the allergy seasons and albuterol as needed. Best of luck.
