My good news is that I have come to realize that I have a lot of wonderful, supportive, caring FORT friends and you guys have showed that side of yourself to me a lot this year and especially this week.

Thank you guys. Your concern, your advice, your voices of reason, your shoulder to lend, just hearing: you did the right thing, has helped me more than you guys know.

I am very blessed to have a lot of friends in this world. Both in person and online.

So thank you FORTers, one and all, there are too many to name and if I did, I would forget someone and I don't want to do that.

You guys are really fantastic and should give yourselves all a pat on the back as you continue to show not only me, but everyone else that comes to the FORT what good people you are. I had trouble with seeing that this week. I let one bad person ruin my week when I should have come to you guys immediately to prove that there are more good ones than bad and an awful lot of you good ones are right here on FORT.

Big hugs to all of you and one great big THANK YOU!

My step daughter is pregnant, due in Jan., and today she and her Hubby asked me to be in the delivery room with them.

It is such an honor to be asked and add the fact I will be the only one on either side of the family there. I am just really honored that they would want me there.

Good news indeed! I seem to have turned a rather sharp corner... after having breathing problems for 3 months now of mysterious origins, I can suddenly breathe freely again and haven't used my inhaler for 5 days!!! My primary still wants me to keep the appointment he made with a specialist to get an opinion on how I should proceed with the herceptin chemo. But woo hoo! You have no idea how good it feels!

Cookiez: Congrats! Post one of your photos from a shoot okay?

Gutmutter: Good to hear you are on the mend!

Giz: I'm glad you're feeling better after your surgery!

catmom3: Congrats on the upcoming grandchild! That will be an experience!

While I was out doing errands yesterday, my wonderful "Santa" Dad came and cleared the snow off my driveway and did the front walk and the neighbor's front walk! He was trying to get the little snow-blower going and it worked! I had done the deck and back walks but it was sure nice to come home in the dark and see it done. I just love my Dad

ALso, I found a pair of black high boots that actually fit from Winners. And they cost almost $70 less than an almost identical pair at the mall. Now my toeseys won't get coldseys.

What was I doing up that early this morning to post??

Anyway, I just got my eye lashes dyed blue black at the local spa. I had a gift certificate that was going to expire and I've never had it done. I make a mess with mascara all the time and my lashes are pretty blond so my eyes just disappear. It was quick and painless so I may do it again.

Does anyone wear false eyelashes everyday these days? Just curious.

My boy Gustav had surgery on both eyes (actually on the lower lids, not the eyes themselves,) and the stitches look like white eyelashes. It makes for a funny contrast with his black fur, but he thinks that he's styling

I'll bet Gustav looks just marvelous. I'd surely bat my blueblack eyeslashes at him if I happened to see him

I hope the surgery went well, Newf.
