    Awe Gut - I am glad you are home safe, and your brief synopsis of your trip is quite captivating. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, and something tells me that he may have wanted you to continue with your journey instead of hauling yourself back home for the funeral.

    Sorry for the double post, but I did not want to post the pics of my new house on the same post I welcomed back Gutmutter and extended my condolences.

    But here is the house. It's so cute! And it has a fireplace! And mature trees (we have no trees here, everything is clearcut when they build houses on a lot and then they plant a tiny little oak in the front and hope it survives).

    And the last one is a view down our street. You have no idea HOW different this is from where we are living now in teh land of everything and every house looks the SAME.

    myrosiedog - look at all those trees! Kids love trees! Especially nice for decorating with toilet paper (ala my house this morning!).
