I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday or non-holiday weekend. I am still have plenty of prayers to pray if needed. Thanks for the well-wishes!

In a few days I should have my own phone and internet service back on. I moved over the weekend and there have been delays in getting the orders processed. I am on a borrowed computer right now. I was going through withdrawl.

Giz: glad to hear you're okay.

I have some good news, for once. I entered a contest to win tickets to the San Francisco Giants Slumber Party, which is exactly what it sounds like: a slumber party on the field, complete with games, food, movies, and breakfast in the dugout. Today I got a package from FedEx... and I won! This is my prize.

That looks like a fun prize sleepysluggo. I guess you can look at it as a mini-honeymoon until you can take a real one later on.

that is sooooo cool! So since they are providing internet, you will have to post to the FORT from there to let us know what a great time you are having!
    Congrats.

Wow SleepySluggo...that sounds like too much fun!

We have an evening like that here in the Trapper's Ballpark. People are invited to spend the night in the field. But it's a fundraiser for the Homeless.

They encourage kids to come with their parents and friends to see what's it's like to sleep outdoors, with no tent, and no concessions, and no movies, and nothing at all. I think there's an entry fee and donations for the food bank. I think they get a coffee and a snack like you would if you were on the street somewhere. There are bathrooms, and there's security of course, but that's about it. You have to entertain yourself with stories and such. No internet allowed. Apparently, it's quite the learning adventure.

In the fall I'll be writing my Master's Thesis and I got the project I wanted. Now I just hope it as fun as I want it to be!
