My wonderful news today is that the repair guy from Verizon just left my house after installing a brand, spankin' new phone line here at THE POMERANIAN SHACK, and now I'm hooked up to DSL on my new laptop and things are working great!

My old phone line had a radio station piped into it, and the only way to fix it was to just start over and install a crisp, new, line -- so Verizon did that and the didn't charge me a cent, either.

Yeah, we're partying down here now 'cause this means that I can access the Internet from my comfy home again!!!

Howard Stern just wants to be EVERYWHERE, doesn't he Pom??!!

Good news about your Pop. Hope you enjoy the turkey!

My good news is that my daughter went to my MIL's for an impromptu sleepover and although I love her to pieces, it's a nice little break for the both of us!

I talked about my pseudo-problem in the Troubles-thread, my bike had a flat tire.

But now my wonderful boyfriend has fixed it for me and I'm not confined to walking anymore .

Good point, marybethp!!! That explains a lot.

He's welcome to do his thing on the air, as far as I'm concerned, but I sure won't choose to listen to it.

Good news for the little birdies! Pets can be expensive when they're ill, but their love is priceless! Next time, do you have anyone working at a bird store that can give you some free advice? Even try an internet site?

Thanks for asking, misskitty. She's doing better today. Her appetite returned and she's no longer just lying still on my bed. She's up playing and moving around. Hopefully, the cough and runny nose will disappear soon!

I got a long term subbing job for the next few months, 9th grade, so it will be a stretch...but stretches are good.
