I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either
SentFromHeaven- good luck with the IPod. I recommend purchasing extra warranty. My son has had such problems with his in the 6 months that he as owned it. In fact, I just sent it back AGAIN for service.
Good news so far is that I haven't gotten sick (my b/f had the flu last week)...but it seems to have passed me by. Surprising since I didnt' stay away from him during that time.
I probably just jinxed myself.
I ordered a mezzo nonfat nowhip cinnamon dolce latte at Starbucks. The poor guy must have been newer than me at Starbucks because he couldn't keep my order straight. He apologized and said he had to do it again because he did it with whole milk. I smiled and said i'd take it like that; it was no big deal. To apologize he gave me a coupon for a free coffee of my choice. It pays to be nice.
Congratulations, Gutmutter! I'm so happy to hear you've finished everything up, and will soon be able to get on with the better things in your life!
That's great that you've finished your treatment, Gutmutter!
It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever. -- David St. Hubbins
That's awesome news Gutmutter! I'm so glad you are through the treatment and on to everyday life.
Gut! That's wonderful news! What a great way to start out the new year! Isn't it wonderful to get to go back to worrying about "normal" stuff like the laundry and your computer?
My good news: I finally got my grades for the semester and I did really well: 3.8 GPA I'm still fuming about the one B+ I got (I guess the emphasis in the "Type A" label is on the letter "A" ) because I thought I did well enough to squeak by with an A-, but I'm getting over it... a little. Regardless, I made the Dean's list, which is great for my first semester back in 7 years. Now I just have to do this 3 more times.... and then grad school!
Other good news: my drive home today only took 6 hours vs. last year, when it took me 12 hours because of the bad weather. I'm SO happy to finally be home. All I want to do is sleep!
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' - Isaac Asimov
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
I'm so happy that you can put that behind you. May 2006 be filled with HEALTH and happiness for you!!!
