Unklescott, I hate that your family keeps having so much trouble-you are in my prayers.

MRD, after trying several "methods", I found that cold turkey was the way for me to quit smoking. The other ways just kept smoking even more on my mind and I don't see how anyone ever quits using things that leave nicotine in your body. And I had taken Wellbutrin for depression, and never suddenly had an urge not to smoke, although they suggest it makes quitting easier. With 'just quit" it's two weeks of nervous hell, then it's just a matter of breaking the habit of reaching for the pack every time you get peeved, sad, eat, get out of the car, etc,etc.

I have a dear friend whose daughter-in-law had about 3 intrauterine deaths (back-to-back, and they were all males) after having 1 successful pregnancy (female). She went on to have 2 more successful pregnancies, one male and one female. It was a rough road, but she ended up with 3 healthy children. Unk, I wish you and your family the best. Sunshine is, indeed, possible.
