Sorry to hear that Unk. Have a friend there who's home got water in it. About 2 feet. Her dad's home was completely destroyed. Well not destoryed, but the flooding in his house went up to the roof. He's lost everything and is in very ill health and not expected to live much longer before this happened. I just hope the shock of this and being evactuated doesn't hasten things.
It's terrible. And I'm hearing that most of the people affected didn't have water damage coverage on their insurance as they were not considered to be in a flood zone.

Hope everyone in and around Nashville is safe.

Oh my gosh! This is just a horrible situation. My heart goes out to all affected. It seems we pay for insurance for years, and yet when we need them, they just aren't there to help.

What a mess this has made of the areas involved, not to mention the mess of so many lives. I hope somehow they find the strength to get through all of this.

I know I haven't been on in a long time. My son has not been feeling well lately. I took him to the doctor and we went in for an ultrasound. My son has a mass on his liver. We are seeing a pediatric oncologist tomorrow morning. The doctors have moved so quickly after these tests that I am concerned. Please keep my 17 year old son Victor in your prayers, thoughts, etc.

Thank you all so much. I went through this with my mother in 2000 and you all know the outcome was not great. My hope is he is only 17 years old and they took so many pictures, etc. with the tests that this is the only mass and if we have to, we can take it out and he can live a full life.

That is a well-put-together video. In the midst of the devastation and clean up, the "volunteer spirit" has been amazing. I hope that message gets out.
