Back is a little better every day, thanks! Physical therapist came to the house on Friday and was amazed at my mobility - so I guess I'm doing pretty well.

I am so glad to hear that you are improving everyday! I'm still battling my elbow injury from the car accident back in June, but it did improve a little everyday. I don't know if I've got tennis elbow or golf elbow, but the inner (medial) aspect of my elbow is what is giving me trouble. I'd rather eat dirt than go to the doctor, though.

The casino is a GREAT idea!
    Have fun in AZ.

Margaritaville, glad to hear you are doing better.

Phroshay, hope the elbow continues to improve. I know what you mean about going to the dr. I am sick of them. But if you're not getting better, you need to go.

Go read the Oasis thread and see where Mom is ALWAYS right!

I know, I hate it too. But sometimes we have to do things we hate because they are good for us.

    Re: Talk about your troubles

I have been feeling bad for about a month now. Started with an intense itching, it was so intense that I literally had bruises all over my body from scratching. No rash. No reasonable explanation. 13 days worth of steriods, anti-itch pills, anti-itch creams. Nothing was working. Now my joints are feeling like they are tightening up. When I walk, my feet feel like they are asleep, but they aren't. My brain feels like I am on some kind of drug, my mouth feels like it has cotton in it. I may be way, way off base here, but I think I finally found my problem. I told my husband that I feel like I have some kind of chemical in my body that isn't suppose to be there. I was going as far as thinking maybe the underwire in my bra has nickel in it and it is seeping into my body. I am allergic to nickel. After reading this article about Victoria Secrets, I am now almost certain that something in the bra is what is causing my reaction. While my bras are not Victoria Secrets (they are Vasserette) they are the only bras I have had a problem with and they are also the only ones that have Made In China on the label.

I guess we shall see over the next few days of not wearing those bras if my symptoms subside or not. If they do, then I have my answer. Hubby is telling me to go have blood work done anyway and see what, if any, high level of toxins show up. I just don't feel like doing it.

Article link: Victoria's Secret bra blamed for woman's rash; formaldehyde suspected - Cleveland Metro News – The Latest Breaking News, Photos and Stories from The Plain Dealer

    An insert from the article....

Only then did she notice that her old reliable bras were made in India, but her new bras bore tags "Made in China."

Ritter contacted Victoria's Secret, where she said a service representative offered her replacement bras and a warning: "I guess you know what bras not to wear now."

The company reps asked her to return the bras, but Ritter refused until she had figured out what had caused her skin problems.

A dermatologist told her the cause was likely formaldehyde, a chemical used as a preservative in fabrics to help retain their shapes.

Wow - that's a new one for me. I hope that is the problem because that's an easy fix. Who would have thought that a stinkin' bra could cause that many problems.

    Re: Talk about your troubles

I had to replace all my bras in the last few months. Had to go with pure cotton ones from Land's End. Any of the ones I had with the molding and I was itching up a storm. I kept one and tried it after everything had settled down and it definitely was that cause it started up again.
