I did hear from her yesterday and her dog Taro is doing MUCH better, but she did not say anything about her knee. Her school is testing this week and she does not have the computer access right now that she normally has because of the testing.

I'm so glad Taro is doing better. It didn't sound too good earlier. I bet she'll be glad when this week is over!
Great to hear that Gut's pooch is better! I hope her knee is better, too!
:yay Gut! I'm thrilled that the dog is doing better!
Great to hear things are on an upswing for Gut! Can't imagine having a week of testing anymore. Yikes!
Thanks mrd. I was just worried about her and hoping everything was alright.
Hey everyone! I just posted this in Koffee Klatch, but I have been monitoring the school's state testing all week. My dog is much better. I took him for a long walk in the woods (me on crutches) on Thursday. Turned out that wasn't such a good idea for my knee, but he had a blast. I really thought he was about to sign out early in the week. He hid under the bureau and messed the floor and wouldn't eat or drink. Couldn't stand to be touched. I'm wondering now if he got into Easter candy somehow. I saw the doctor yesterday and will see a specialist next week. Still on crutches. The heating pad is my best friend right now.
I don't know how I missed that you had something wrong, gutmutter--I'll search back through to see what :sad. Get well soon--and i'm really glad your baby just had a bellyache or whatever it was!
Gutmutter - So good to read the Taro is better. You now need for you to get better, so let us know what's happening.
Well, since you asked... nothing's broken per the Xray. Nothing hurts to touch, but it is still swollen after a week which means I can't bend it all the way. None of the tests she did (jerking it this way and that) hurt until she did one where she sat on my foot with my knee bent and jerked my calf forward. Even that wasn't a sharp pain and I said, "That would hurt if you did it to my other knee" so she did and it didn't. Anyway, I'm to see a specialist this week. She wouldn't speculate on whether it would need surgery. She wrapped it which helped a lot. Anywho...they're calling me Hopalong at work.
