So it's 3:00AM I get up to go to the bathroom and step in something cold and wet. Right in the the middle of the hallway Joey upchucked. Whenever I don't feel well right in the middle, he up chucks. At least go off to the side.

They can't go off to the side, you wouldn't step in it that way.

Hope you and Joey both are feeling better soon.

Nothing worse than a middle of the night cleanup.

gabriel - I hope by the time you read this you're feeling better. I've gotten the flu shot the last two years and haven't been sick once. In fact about a month ago everyone around me was getting sick and I had the beginnings of it and then it went away overnight. I swear it was the flu shot working. When I do start feeling sick I immediately start taking Ester C every hour or two. That nips it in the bud or at least lessens the symptoms. I'm a big fan of herba tea. Yogi brand makes Throat Coat (for sore throats), Breathe Easy (for trouble breathing), ginger or peppermint is good for the tummy, and chamomile will settle you right down if you're upset. I had a cup of that the other day when I was so upset and it helped a LOT. Sorry about the cat sick. That's the worst. And Unklescott - hope your back is better, too.
    Count your blessings!

Yesterday morning - I stubbed my toe. SO's phone was ringing - it was work - and I was looking at the screen and walking and BAM right in the the TV stand which holds the fish tank. OUCH. It's a lovely shade of purple and hurts like heck!

Sorry for everyone else's troubles. Hope everyone is feeling better by now,if not, then soon!

Hope your toe is better soon. I swear that stubbing a toe or hitting a shin on furniture is the most painful thing in the world.

We were watching Ghost Hunters International and they were in a room with a lot of low stools and everyone was stumbling around and bumping into them and they "bleeps" were coming right and left. It was funny, but I could also empathize.

    Goodness!
myrosiedog: I hope you feel better soon ...little myroseidog too!
gabriel: I hope Joey lets you get some good sleep on the bed soon! Remember, it's healthy for him to upchuck. He's probably sick knowing that you are down in the dumps. He's sooo sensitive you know.
Unk: Back injuries hurt! Glad you are laying down with some heat!
PGM: Meowza. That would hurt. Colors sound nice! Did you hurt any fish?

I feel fairly good today. Oops. Wrong thread.

Joey can keep the bed - the couch is working fine for me. Between the chicken soup, alka seltzer plus an orange juice, water and toast I should be be to whatever normal is soon.

It's getting better - the bruise has moved to the top of my foot, right below the toe (not the pinky but the 2nd toe over). Miss Kitty - you will be happy to know: No fish were harmed in the stubbing of my toe.
