Let me just add my to everyone elses' beautiful words. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's wedding. I'm glad you were able to post some of her pictures, though, because after reading your sad post, it's nice to see such a radiantly sweet woman you have created. God be with you and your family.

Your daughter looked stunning that day, just gorgeous. She looked like she was having the happiest day of her life, too!

My prayer for your family is that you'll find peace in reflecting on how happy all of you were at the very moment when your daughter's father-in-law was stricken. My prayer is that you'll find comfort in knowing how very happy and proud and full of love he must have been at that very moment.

I'm so glad he was there for the ceremony, and my prayer will be that those of you who survived will somehow find healing and serenity after the shock of this tragic loss has abated.

Dinah, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened at your daughter's wedding. My thoughts are with you & your family.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. I am just overwhelmed with the sympathy and well - wishes that I've received.

The funeral service was today. I didn't go as it was about 10 hours away, but I spoke with my daughter afterward. She said it was a lovely service, and she met many more of her new hubby's relatives. She said the family seems to be doing as well as can be expected, and they have all been very gracious in welcoming her to the family.

They are only about 20 miles from Mexico, so they may take a day-trip on Thursday; I hope so - they need to do something for themselves. They plan to come home on Friday or Saturday, and I can't wait to spoil them both with some home cooking; pork chops and mashed potatoes can make anyone feel better.

Thank you all again; I don't know what I would've done without my FoRt friends, and I thank you on behalf of my daughter and her husband for all your prayers.

Dina, I am just catching up and read about your daughter's wedding and her father-in-law. It is so sad for all of you. As has already been said, he was so proud at that moment and that is what should be remembered. Your daughter looked radiant and is so beautiful. I am so glad you have those beautiful photos because they will be a reminder that something wonderful happened that day as well, and that his father was the one who performed the ceremony. Dina, I hope you are coping because as stressful as it was/is for his family, you need to care for yourself too. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Dinahann, I am so sorry to hear of your tragedy. Your daughter is beautiful. Daisies are one of my favorite flowers.

I just found out that my 14 year old goddaughter is having seizures. She has passed out more than four times in less than a month. When she comes to, she doesn't know who she is or where she is. I hope that specialist can help her. I've been very close to her since the day she was born. I just turned 15 and was asked to be her godmother. She does and likes everything I do.
