I haven't been here for 4 or 5 days, so am not up on everyone's news yet. I spent the weekend trying to get rid of this cold so I can still do my last chemo on Friday. I tried to just put my feet up and rest, but I'm a single mom who works full time so weekends are when I do laundry, groceries, dishes, the dump, etc. I still have gunk in my lungs, so I'm taking a sick day tomorrow to really rest. Anyone know a good cure for gunk in the lungs? I've gotten rid of everything else, and I don't even have a cough. It's just when I do cough there's stuff there. Marleybone - aren't you the expert on veins? What I can I do to improve my chances of a successful IV on Friday? Drink lots of fluids? I already start ordering them to bring me hot towels as soon as I get there. They are going to take the blood for testing from the IV site this time instead of letting me into the clutches of the bloodletting wenches who robbed the good veins last time. Ok - requesting prayers for healthy lungs and a successful last chemo on Friday. You can bet I'll be celebrating then. Love you all - even when I'm not here.
