Maybe I'll head over to eBay to see if they have some designer helmets. Ooohhhh - how about the one Kid Rock wore in that biker movie that no one (even me) saw?

My mom had her consultation today to determine what options she has with her breast cancer. Because the spot on her breast is so small the doctor thought it would be difficult to find and involve removing a larger area as a result. This process would also involve daily radiation treatments for about 6 weeks. Her other option is a full mastectomy and no radiation. Mom has elected to have the full mastectomy on 9/20.
Normally my youngest sister handles all of mom's medical issues, but I asked to go along today and I'm glad I did. Please keep my mom in your prayers. Thanks.

Consider prayers for your mom in the works.

She's there dberk. This sounds very similar to my mom's breast cancer. She also elected to have the full mastectomy with no radiation or chemo. That was about 15 years ago and she's doing great and is cancer free.

Good luck to her dberk. No matter what age, that is a hard decision. Hope all goes well.
