When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Probably serum sodium. It has to be kept in a very tight range.
Katesmom, your dad will be in my prayers. Please let us know how he's doing.
Wishing your dad a speedy recovery, KatesMom. I hope they find out quickly what caused the low sodium levels and get them corrected.
Prayers for your dad, KatesMom. Keep us posted.
I am so sorry about your dad Katesmom I am sending good healing vibes, he will be in my thoughts, as will you.
The average dog is a nicer person than the average person
I've never heard of that. Any idea what causes it? I'll keep you and your dad in my thoughts.
Count your blessings!
I've never heard of low salt levels, but it's clearly not a good thing.
My prayers go out to you Kate'sMom & to your dad.

I don't know if this is the same thing but my dad used to take salt tablets in the summer because he used to perspire so profusely on the job, and so, I guess, excreted too much sodium. Fortunately, he never had to be hospitalized.
