Been driving for 4 hours and thinking of Gutmutter for most of that time. I was always told that when someone comes to mind, say a quick prayer. Well, Gutmutter got lots of prayers from me today.

Gut my friend...unfortunately you are learning that medicine is far from an exact science. You are in my thoughts, and my good wishes and positive thoughts are directed your way. Stay strong, and ask questions.

Thank you all. I'm back on my feet and so, so thankful the cancer hadn't spread to the lymph nodes. It should be a fairly quick recovery and then a little chemo, a little radiation and I'll be good as new.
