Thanks for the well wishes - I got some dental wax that is usually used for braces to keep wires from hurting the mouth so I am doing well. I can't eat too much or it knocks the wax off, but that won't hurt me, haha. I even walked 10 miles today in preparation for my half marathon next Sunday!
chrisg, I am glad you are a little bit removed from the storm - I hope that your NY place doesn't suffer any damage. My brother and his wife are in Philadelphia and they are concerned about flooding. He is responsible for a number of students who live in dorms at his college, so he has many people to worry about. Again, I am hoping that very little damage occurs. Your area has certainly experienced some unusual events lately!
My bil received news this week that the cancer has spread all over his body. They will continue to do chemo until his body can't handle it anymore. He told my sister wednesday that they needed to start selling stuff because he was dying. He has a sister in Alaska and she had to have surgery on her bladder to take out a tumor and it was cancereous. It is the same thing that bil had. Scary thought it happening to a brother and sister. They don't know the extent of her cancer and until they get all the test results back they don't know what course of treatment she will have.
Oh, nennie, how awful. Your family is in my prayers. :grouphug
Nennie your family is in my prayers
Thanks for the prayers, much appreciated.
Thinking of you, Nennie and your bil and family :grouphug
I'm sorry to hear of the news of your bil and his sister. That is disturbing. Why are they doing chemo? Do you know? I would think if it's that pervasive, they'd just let him live in peace while he can. Chemo is horrible.
:grouphug nennie...Cancer sucks!
I'm so sorry, nennie
