Prayers for BlondeOne and nennie. Why we are confronted with challenges is a mystery, I hope both of you can find comfort through family and friends.

I too need more prayers. I know this is the place I can come to, I too believe in the power of prayer. My godchild's baby was born on Thursday, the long awaited arrival, the joy during a time of the birth of a new baby, a boy. We had a baby shower for her a month ago. Only to have problems develop within 24 hours. He wasn't feeding, and wasn't breathing properly. They have transferred him to the best hospital in the area, will have to have some sort of surgery, we are not clear exactly what the problem is. He will undergo all sorts of tests to ensure there isn't anything else wrong. He is on a feeding tube right now. Parents are the only ones allowed at the hospital. Its an hour away, but a friend and myself will be making the trip to try and give her support.

She is communicating by text messages to her family, who relay the info to us, which none of it makes any sense.

She is beside herself, she's a mess, and can't stand looking at her new baby hooked up to so many tubes. Her wonderful husband is taking right over. She needs the support of her family and prayers. Thanks to all.

My brother-in-law just found out that there is no cure for the cancer he has. It has spread to other parts of his body and chemo is all they can do for him right now. My sister is devastated as we just lost our mom 2 1/2 months ago. God's grace is sufficient in time of need and He will see us through.

Thank you to everyone! He is doing a bit better today and was about to get his breathing tube out when we left. Praise God!

I am so very sorry about your BIL and will send many prayers for you and your family.
