| Having a really bad day here. My grandmother was rushed to the hospital again for the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks. Don't know what's going on with her. She's still being tested. Go home for lunch to my sister calling my cell phone crying hysterical. Her best friend of 25 years called her to tell her that they found her father dead this morning. She lives in California, so my sister feels so useless right now. They were like a second family to my sister and her friend was like a big sister to me. Then my sister gets another phone call that one of her friends committed suicide.

| OMG Combatcutie!!! There is not much to say, but how awful...my heart goes out to you and your sister. Do you have other people around you right now?? Take a deep breath, and try to focus on one thing at a time. I hope your grandmother will be okay. |

| thanks canuckinchile. I'm at work right now, so that's good. I wish I could be with my sister though. She was so upset.

| combatcutie - you poor thing. Your sister must be feeling horrible. Any news on your grandmother? I just got back from the cancer specialist, but I'm going to post in the good news thread. Just me looking at the glass half full.

| I'm so sorry combatcutie  That's a lot to deal with in one day.  My work mates and I are preparing for the one year "anniversary" of a co-worker who committed suicide on June 29, 2004. I had never been through anything like that before and I still feel like I'm still recovering just from the shock of it all. It's good your sister has you to give her whatever comfort you can.  |

| Oh CC -my heart aches for you dear, and I hope your grandmother will be okay. Some people find that staying focused on something like work, helps get them through these things, but don't forget that your family comes first. Take time to grieve, or hug, or hold a hand.
