I'm 100% Norwegian but live in the US at the moment![]()

I have a question: after how many years/generations in America do you stop calling yourself European? I refer to myself as half-European (and half-Japanese), although my dad was born in LA, because we are not culturally "American."![]()
I don't think you can call yourself European unless you were born in Europe. Hope this doesn't set the cat among the pigeons!
