    Can anyone help? Windows XP

I can usually figure out how to change or fix settings on my computer but I can't figure this one out, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Everytime I get into a site that needs a sign in or password I have to type the whole thing in, the little auto complete will pop up and ask if I want Windows to remember it I click yes, but then the next time I go to that site I still have to type everything in. The computer use to remember my passwords, then all of a sudden it quit. Can anyone tell me why? Can anyone tell me how to fix it? I have gone into the section where you check mark for Windows to remember passwords and it is marked. This isn't anything major, just really annoying. Thanks anyone!!

Sounds like your cookies are being cleared automatically somehow. I'm not familiar with XP settings though.

Glad it helped some, jjfrias. The ironic thing is that we are constantly clearing our cookies on our computers. We don't want anyone remembering our passwords but us.

Can you explain how to "uncheck" the cookie settings box?

Jewls, try clicking on the checked box, to "uncheck" it.

Sorry, Jewls. Depending on your browser, try clicking:
Tools ---> Internet Options ---> Privacy

It should be around in there.
