    Friday the 13th

It was yesterday. Anyone faced anything unlucky? I was just wondering.

I was keeping check of the things around me and trying not to be unlucky yesterday.
Although unlucky almost struck me. I took the lift to the place I work and settled in. Five minutes later, I could hear the lift alarm being rang continously for 30 minutes. Apparently someone was stuck inside. I was lucky that I took the earlier lift.

Nice! Give yourself a pat on the back for such luck.

I never noticed it was Friday the 13th. Not like I care cuz I'm not supersticious.

Nice going, UE. Because of Hurricane Charley, I had to drive back home a day early from Myrtle Beach..on the 13th, so we wouldn't have to drive through the storm on Saturday. But, Charley then chose a different route. I consider it to be unlucky...because I had to leave vacation early! Oh well...

Rab, I noticed your Hal Sparks av...Michael Novotny, right? Such a great show, QaF.

I wish I knew...he's an odd green thing.

Actually, imagine if you won the lottery on Friday the 13th. It's the day of nonluck...it could be an omen or something. Sorry, random thought.

well I almost quit my job and or got laid off, I blew up at my boss cause he was making excuses for the dispatcher at work and I finally got tired of apologizing for his goof ups and said so over the radio. big discussion at loud volumes but i think the boss got the message and went to talk to the dispatchers boss. especially since he sent the boss to the wrong room earlier in the evening. but I had enough of the 'can't we all get along crap"

In my theater group, Friday the 13th was the last day of rehearsal. We told stories of our ghostly encounters during lunch. Then we did an over dramatic run through for fun. It was hilarious.

I had forgotten that it was Friday the 13th, but now that you mention it, I did have one yucky thing happen. I have been on vacation, hanging out at home mostly, but I still had plans to be off for five more days. That Friday, I got a call from work saying that they need me back Monday and Tuesday mornings until around noon. Aarrgh! :phhht

I was bummed out for several hours about that, but I decided to make the best of the rest of my time off. Oh, well, next year, I'll try to go out of state again where I am not so easily found....
Just take a breath and relax...everything's going to be just fine...

I forgot it was Friday the 13th, and thankfully I didn't watch TV and wasn't subjected to the "Friday the 13th" movie marathon they always show.
