If I had to pick just ONE store, that'd definitely be Amazon.com.

Wow, this is tough....... Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm a freak when it comes to places like that, and I can clear out the kitchen section in five minutes.

I was going to say Manolo Blahnik's store in NYC, but Neiman Marcus would be better. They are both stores I can't afford to shop in otherwise.

Oooooooh, Harry Winston is a good one Texi.

But I'd probably pick Lowe's or Bestbuy.

Wow, this is a tough question! I would have to say definitely one of these: Pottery Barn, Guess. I love fashion and I love decorating. So I choose both of these. Not one, both. I won't choose one and you can't make me. :phhht

    That is a great place.
My mother-in-law lives in Portland, and we go to Powell's everytime we visit her. It is probably the best thing Portland has to offer IMO. I also love Elliott Bay bookstore in Seattle ( I hope I remembered the name right), but Powell's has a slight edge over it.
ps. This is just my opinion in the matter.

Crap! Just ONE store? Can't we pick one clothing store, one shoe store, one jewelry store, one home store, one book store....??

Well...I guess I would have to somehow pick between either Pier One or Pottery Barn, and Victoria's Secret, and McNally Robinson (an amazing Canadian bookstore chain), and...I liked the idea of Harry Winston and Manolo Blahnik too...who am I kidding, I can't pick just one.

I'm with you AJane, except for the home and book stores!
