Tweak the red so that it's more of a scarlet, and then accent with gray![]()

hahaha that sounds horrific!
Has anyone here every had experience with creaky wood floors? I'm not talking about a squeak here and there. I mean, every single step you take is wake the baby noisy. Ug, what did the darn builders DOOO to this place? There's not a straight line, square room or flat quiet floor in the whole place. I'm terrified to think what rot is secretly festering under the poorly installed shower upstairs. Someday the boys will be taking a bath and wind up on the dining room table.

Our floors in the old house used to do that too. The wood warped because it wasn't treated properly prior to being put in. I wasn't about to spend money to deal with a whole new floor so we just made music as we walked!

We have creaky wood floors here and since we're just renting there's not a darn thing we can do about them. The upside is that with two teenagers in the house, they can't make a move without me knowing about it and believe me they've triedOriginally Posted by ClosetNerd;3153358;

CYA
You could try the ask this old house website. They had an episode where Tom Silva showed an homeowner how to correct this using some type of breakaway screws so you wouldn't see them.Originally Posted by ClosetNerd;3153358;
I have actually had a chuckle to myself about this.Originally Posted by Bunny555;3153931;
The boy's bedrooms are both directly across the hall from our room.
When they get older, being sneaky will be very very difficult![]()
