Eva, my CC recipe might not be a killer, but my family currently likes them best of several that I make.
It is based on the Nestle Toll House recipe on the back on the bag. I'll just give my changes.
- Leave out about two tablespoons of white sugar.
- Melt the butter instead of just letting it soften. Do this carefully in the microwave or top of double boiler, as it burns easily. Melting it dissolves the sugar wonderfully.
- Triple the vanilla from one teaspoon to three. (or one tablespoon)
- Add two tablespoons of milk when mixing the dough. If you do this, chill the dough before baking and cool down the cookie sheet before putting the dough on.
