Great photos. So you had fun? I knew you'd love the Bubble Room.
And I loved the photo and caption (when fat women fly). Looks like it was a fun trip.

How could you not love the Bubble Room? Yes, it was fun even though I really, really have to watch letting any sun get on me these days, and I think next time I'd go in May; it was already hotter than the hinges of Hell on June 5!
It's that way in May too. Summer starts early in SW Florida. I ALWAYS had a pool party for my birthday which is May 18. Go in April
Beautiful pictures! The Bubble Room looks like a great place to go and the beach shots are just lovely. Looks like you had a great time! You are a braver woman than I am to go parasailing! :nod You should post some pics of the shells that you collected. Glad you had a nice weekend with your sister! :)
That looks like you had so much fun-I'm so jealous!
For you, Doxie; I didn't think anyone else was as interested in shells as I am; these are just a sample of what I got. I love the ones from Sanibel because of the varieties, but especially the colors! The ones in the second picture are all less than 3/4 inch long--I think I might get a teeny tiny wooden box and make a little display out of them. A lot of people don't find the little things, but since I still can't walk too far I found lots of cool itty-bitties by digging in the piles of shells.

Ohhhh.... what fun you had. I could never go parasailing.
I used to love to go shelling and I have glass jars full of them. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some great memories...:heart
Those shells are beautiful! I think a little wooden box/display would be a great way to remember your trip!
Also - shells make good Christmas ornaments - I've glued little ribbon "hangers" on to some that I found on the beach where my parents' have a house and given them to them as gifts. Maybe you could do that for your sister as a way to commerate your weekend together. :)
Beautiful shells Queenb. Makes me miss Florida, a tiny bit. I used to love going shelling.
What great photos, queenb! And kudos for going parasailing! I chickened out on my honeymoon, but hubby went. I sat back on the beach and took pics of him. My older daughter went parasailing one time when she was in VA Beach on spring break.
I really don't have a fear of heights, but don't like amusement park rides that go up and somehow equate parasailing to something like an amusement park ride. Is it a similar feeling?
