The Blue Angels ARE amazing - anyone who gets a chance to see them should go!Originally Posted by Bunny555;3403933;
Henry wearing roller skates and bunny ears would be pretty amazing too! Those are plastic Easter eggs around his feet though.![]()

Great pictures, Doxie--I've only seen the Blue Angels once, years ago, and should really go again. And when I first looked at the picture of Henry, my mind said "wheels" also, so I looked until I figured it out!![]()

Great photos Doxie. The Blue Angels are totally amazing. I get goosebumps just thinking about them. We used to see them at a huge airshow where we lived in Florida (and were fortunate enough to have friends very, very close to the airport, so we could watch from their yard)
The Air Force's Thunderbirds are pretty impressive too. If anyone gets the chance to see either, you MUST go (but I think the Blue Angels are better.)
Looks like a very fun day.

Here's a few of my photos I used with an article about one of the most beautiful spots in the world: Glacier Bay, Alaska. I wrote that Glacier Bay should be on everyone's bucket list!

Those are beautiful pics of Glacier Bay! I have always wanted to go to Alaska and it is definitely on my list of places to go.
Doxie, those are some sweet pics of the Blue Angels! I remember going to see them at Miramar Air Station (aka Top Gun) every year when I was a kid in San Diego and not only getting to see the Angels but seeing their jets up close and personal. They don't let you do that much anymore. Never though could you get pics like that with the cameras we had when I was a kid.
Writerinthewind, I love Alaska too--I'm about due to go back--next year, maybe? I'm trying to talk my fella into going up to Seward and Homer, or else to Vancouver Island (Ucluelet) next June-- he really wants to see a whale, and I don't mind being 'forced' to go back at all!![]()

I just got back from a sister vacation, to Sanibel Island, Florida. We had a nice, relaxing time.. This is the beach at out place
The Bubble Room on Captiva I. Fun, fun, and great food too.
A trip to an uninhabited island to find even more seashells than the ones on sanibel which is world famous for shelling

Oh, and don't let me forget, "When Fat Women Fly"... this was surprisingly smooth,calm and peaceful, even when we went 1000 feet up--too far away to even hear the boat we were riding behind!!
Royal Ponciana tree--I love these, and they were everywhere.
