| What great pictures, QueenB. I'm dying to go to Alaska, I think that's going to be our next family trip in the next year or two.

| Beautiful pictures, Queenb. I remember seeing the ones from when you went last year. Lucy, maybe I'll stow away in your suitcase when you go. I'm sure the family won't notice. ![]()

| Thanks for sharing your vacation pics, Queenb. They are awesome. Alaska is also been a dream vacation of mine. Hopefully, I can go in a year or two. ![]() I went to S. Dakota a couple of weeks ago. You would think 'what's there to see in S. Dakota", but there is actually so many beautiful places there. I didn't get to go to do all the things I wanted to, so I would love to go back again. I'll see if I can resize some of the pics so I can post them here.

| Please do Wolf! I've wanted to go to SDak too, I know there's a lot of cool stuff there. I could not have afforded to go back to AK so soon, except I met some very nice people the last time; we have been emailing and so forth all year, and they invited me to come up and spend time in their camper and out on the boat. I had a lot of people tell me I was nuts, but everything was cool, and I had a blast. Now on to Vegas! And, everyone else keep the pictures coming. I love looking at them!

| Love the pictures, queenb. The picture of the boat and the mists and the mountains - stunning. I think I've mentioned before, but Alaska is my dream vacation - looks like I'm not alone in that feeling. How about FORTCon 3: Alaska???? ![]()

| Italian vacation I finally got around to learning how to post pictures. Here are a few pictures from my vacation in Italy (September 05). Village in Calabria, called Tropea. You can see the church on the mountain. ![]() Same village, Tropea. This time it is the view across the church. I would never feel safe in one of those houses, but the view is amazing. ![]() In the 1700s, some shipwrecked people built a church in a cave. The statues seen in the cave are carved out of the stone. It is quite a sight. ![]() My son, "driving" while waiting for the ferry boat to bring us to Sicily. ![]() Temple of Hercules in Agrigento, Sicily. ![]() Piazza in Cattolica, Sicily, my in-laws' hometown. ![]() One the of many gorgeous views from the Amalfi Coast. View of the Colosseum, Rome. ![]() | |
