Yeah, that's what I was going to say. I love seeing all the places I'll never be able to visit by looking at all these different locations. Love your pics! I love to camp. | |

| I know how you feel ADKLove, for obvious reasons, but whenever I start getting jealous of others and down on the camping thing, I remind myself that where we go is cool and different to other people, if not to ourselves. An Austrailian moved into my neighbourhood and she was just thrilled to go camping and actually see a beaver and a moose in the wild, and she thought the sunsets were beautiful. But how I long for those exotic locales... the white sands and aqua waters... *sigh* |

| Doesn't appear like Disney World has changed all that much since I was last there, two years ago.

| It's so funny...I'm within half a day's drive of the white sands and aqua waters that touque mentioned; and yet I pretty much had enough of the beach as a kid. Now, a couple of days evry few years is enough for me, and the idea of the week at a beach resort is my idea of hell. And yet, I'm totally psyched about the idea that I have a good chance to see a moose while I'm on my upcoming vacation. We do have deer and lots of other animals here, but nothing that size! I guess it boils down to what you have seen , and where you live. There are also a lot of people I know who find it relaxing to do the same vacation in the same spot every year, while others of us are more refreshed by things that are new and different. Of course I do enjoy having a few days off close to home, if I don't have a "gotta do" list!
