I can remember going to a store on Thanksgiving when CPD were at their height and for whatever reason the store had received a shipment and people were waiting on Thanksgiving day to get one. I couldn't believe it. It was unbelievable that people would trample everyone to get one.
That reminds me of that movie with Arnold Swartzenegar(sp?) and the lil kid and he wanted that superhero action figure

    Furbies. Those yucky horrible things.

I've been cleaning the toy area in the basement. Tons of beanie babies (although the childern refuse to give up any of them), Poke'man cards (ditto) and Yugio cards (ditto) But the Furbie my kids were very happy to get rid of, they thought it was a bit evil. (that and the singing bass)

Hey now, chia pets rule. The ultimate pet for one so lazy as I. That is, if I can ever remember to water it...

I still remember dad putting on all his old Marine Corps combat gear for Christmas shopping during the height of the Cabbage Patch craze.

And good Lord boredom, did you have to bring back... the EVIL AMY?!

Boy bands are unfortunately still here, they are just in the form of crappy "punk" bands like good charlotte and simple plan.
