That happened to me. I did Atkins the summer of 2004 and I did lose 20 lbs. but it was impossible for me to keep it up and I did gain it all back plus some and now I'm just trying to lose weight by eating better in general. I still watch my carb intake but not enough for the quick weight loss you experience when you cut it way down to next to nothing like you do on Atkins.

AJane, good luck though. Just because I couldn't maintain it doesn't mean you won't be successful at it. Keep us posted!

Seriously, if this is a fashion trend I'm going to have to start duct taping my eyes closed, because it was not pretty. But I have to admit half the guys in the place couldn't take their eyes off her on the treadmill.
EW!!! Ew, ew, ew!! That's icky as hell. I'll make sure to have my duct tape handy just in case.

While out today i saw a guy with just a tank top and his jean shorts around his knees, seriously. He was wearing a belt so they were at least steady but, c'mon. When did that look become de rigueur?

I really don't get this hip hop look of having your pants droop halfway down your booty. I wouldn't want a cold draft back there!

    I don't like Stacked heels =
They look so rough, for a lack of a better word.

    Espadrille=

    Im unimpressed.

And as i mentioned some pages ago, these half-length sweaters.
Don't know what purpose they serve.

I wore these types of shoes back in the 70's. We LOVED them back then. Wouldn't wear them today as now I am into more comfort, but back then I was also in better shape and VERY fashion conscious.
And the black ones you show are very retro to the 1940's.

Looks like it would have been easier to walk in the black stacked heels than the ones my mom had in the 60s, those heels were so high & thin and for some reason the name escapes me.

You mean those Jackie Kennedy pumps? My mom wore them too. They had pointy toes and tiny, high heels. I used to try hers on and wobble all over the place. Not easy at all, but my mom could take off in hers with not a look back. I guess you get used to it.
