I'm one of those that cuts out the tag, too. And then I realize that I wasn't sure of the washing info. And then I figured I'd only paid peanuts and could buy another if I ruined it!

count me in as a fan of the tagless trend!! i LOVE IT.![]()
A trend I would really like to go away is the trend of releasing "unrated" versions of movies on DVD. I am always left wondering what exactly they changed from the original and a lot of the time I don't remember what the original rating was so I'm not sure how to judge how appropriate it might be for my young teens. I ran into this earlier today because I sat down to watch a movie I had rented that had come in an unrated version. I had *thought* it was originally been PG-13 so I started watching it with my 13 yo. The language was so vulgar and inappropriate that I had to turn it off almost immediately. Fortunately the nudity was not introduced in the first scene!!!!I wish they would at least make a note on the DVD about what rating it was originally released with.
Ive said this before and i need to say it again, wide screen dvds.

I hate having a 4:3 TV and when I want to rent a movie or buy a TV Show DVD box set my only option is widescreen.
However, with a proper 16:9 TV, I can see why it's so popular.
i have a regular old tv, but i prefer wide screen.![]()
I prefer widescreen too. I like the dimensions that were intended for cinema screens.
