Anybody else sick over the holidays?

I've had more than my share of bad holidays in the past ten years. Out of the last ten Christmas holidays, I've had migraines for two Christmas Eves which caused me to miss all the fun and spend the entire day/night in a dark, quiet room trying not to move. I've had a nasty flu for two of them, one of which sent me to the ER Christmas Eve night. And I continued the trend this year with a terrible stomach flu that came on suddenly Christmas Eve afternoon. Maybe next year I will learn not to make any plans for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Hope everyone else's holidays were FAR better than this!!!!

Anyway, I'm glad to be back. I missed the FORT!

my daughter has been sick for two weeks, just finished up her 10 days on antibiotics that she started half-way through the first week and is still up coughing all night. Now my husband has "the plague" and they're both coughing and hacking at me, so I think I'll hide out in my office for a little while longer.

Sorry you had a sick holiday, Stepscot.

Wow! I've talked to 3 separate families that were all sick with the flu over the holidays!

That stinks!! Hope January is better for you Stepscot and for the LG clan.

I managed to the the cold that my employees have been passing around since Thanksgiving....gee thanks guys!! Thankfully it's not too bad, atleast not with more than ample doses of DaQuil/NyQuil and mega vitamin C. Almost over it now, just in time for us to all pass it around again.

Ugh, what a yucky way to spend the holiday Stepscot.

Thankfully we were all fine here.

I've had a bad cold but this year we were healthier then usual. When the kids were younger this would be the time of year one or both would be verry ill with flu or colds. Thankfully they are growing out of that and I can just drug myself up and enjoy the holiday.

I think people are just so busy leading up to the holidays their bodies fight off everything then when you relax a bit your system starts to shut down and you become susceptible to illnesses.
Hope everyone that was ill is now on the mend.
