2 days before Christmas hubby and I both got slammed with a cold. We played tag-team nappers and got plenty of rest throughout the days as the other took care and had fun with the kiddos. We were up to par by Christmas and just getting over the residual ear nose and throat yuck now. Hope no one gets this same yuck, but if you do it will pass quickly.

Wishing you all health and happiness!
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer

This could be strep. I haven't had it in a number of years.

My whole extended family got sick over the holidays. Same dumb head cold. Swept in and made your nose run for a day, then left behind a nasty cough. I'm still coughing. It's annoying.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Captain's Log Stardate January 2, 2003: I awoke from my quarters this morning absolutely drained, having spent most of the entire night fighting off the Klingon runs. Bones advises that this must be the intergalactic stomach virus that everyone is talking about. Uggh. The entire crew has symptoms but so far no one has been sent to sickbay. I am requesting a soft cushion be attached to all seating on the bridge and a round of Kaopectate for the crew. Captain out.

My 15 month old woke up Christmas night throwing up. She threw up 5 times that night and had diarreah for the next 3 days. My sister's family (all 6 of them) had the same stomach virus, as did my dad and my aunt & uncle and their daughter, who is 6 months pregnant. The virus brought on early contractions and she had to go to the doctors. My mother-in-law also came down with it. Yuck! Luckily, neither me nor my husband got sick.
