I associate Carmel with Monarch Butterflies, Pebble Beach, and Cannery Row. I know that may be more Pacific Grove / Monterey, but Carmel is still the best place in California to vacation for a weekend! Beautiful! Oh yes, and the shopping... :)

My hometown is the Birthplace of Ralph Nader. We've seen him recently buying batteries at CVS and a baked potato from Wendy's. My daughter's reaction when I pointed him out to her...."Who?"

ETA.....I almost forgot, Walter Wick also used to live here. He is the author, photographer of the beautiful children's book series " I Spy"

Where i was raised: A kid named Scott Williams who won rings with MJ while on the Chicago Bulls. It's also famous for that Buddhist Temple where Algore (the guy who invented the internet) got that illegal donation from.
