What you're doing is called hot-linking, which is a practice lots of web sites frown upon. Most webmasters will specifically block hot-links, in fact.

What you should do is host that picture at one of the many free picture hosting services (like Photobucket), and host the image from there. More often than not, they'll give you the exact code you need to post it on message boards (like Fort).

AngelicOne... I use picturetrail.com and once I upload the photo there, there is an option to the get the URL and it gives it to you in all sorts of codes, one of them is for forums and you copy and paste it here.

Ok, so not to sound obtuse (and/or stupid) but will a DVD+/-RW drive also burn CD-Rs?

Ah, I thought so Leo but it didn't say so outright so I was second-guessing myself.
    Thanks very much.

    ????

Question, When I go to the MTV.com page all I see is a black screen, and when I go to try to play videos at VH1 it just keeps loading and loading, but nothing ever coming up? I've downloaded flash player, that didn't help...Any suggestions?

Mtv.com is a piece of junk, they have too much crap on it. I have a high speed connection and it gives me fits. If it's videos you're looking for go to www.video.aol.com, they will tell you where to find videos all over the net, it's pretty cool.

Anybody know of a program or photo hosting site that will let me re-size a gif file?
