"at the end of the day"

    Ugh. *shudder*
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Phrases/words with expiration dates that have passed:

    "you go girl"

    "My bad"

    "a'ight"

"dude" (when said to a woman)

I don't know why, but "back in the day" drives me up a wall.

And add frozen popsicle wrappers rubbing together to the list of sounds that make my neck hairs stand up.

OMG thank you! I thought I was the only one that cringed everytime I read that insipid, overused phrase.

I hate the phrase and I just found out what it meant yesterday.
Do us all a favor John and delete all those threads that say has ___________ jumped the shark.

The phrase "Twenty-four seven" is the one that has been bugging me lately.
