A blessing of peace for Mothers who have lost their children

Today will never be a "happy" day for the millions of mothers who have lost their children.

I send my blessing of peace and comfort to those women today.

Mothers who have lost their child to war, or illness, or accidents.

Mothers who bore a child only to have that child ripped from her grasp in a tragedy of stillbirth or infant death.

Today, screaming silently in agony, as the rest of the world celebrates.

I hear your screams and pray for you.

    But you are there,
and an invisible aspect of you
    remains with me

That's very sweet bravofan. I would like to include the women who always wanted to have children but were never able to.

My mother had a baby who would be 21 in a few days, but he died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) a few months into his life. She was blessed enough to have two more healthy crazy kids after that.

My mom had a miscarriage when I was about 4. But she was lucky enough to have another kid 3 years later.

And I would like to add the people who had miscarriages early into the pregnancy.

There are close members of my family that have struggled and others that continue to struggle with the heartbreak of infertility. To them and to the mothers who have lost their children-both born and unborn-I offer my sincere condolences and wishes for peace.
