In real life, I like to believe I am a little bit more sane...but my shrink disagrees with me on that

Actually, I am the same person offline as online except I talk more online (don't y'all feel lucky?). In real life, because of my hearing loss...it's hard for me to jump into conversations - because I usually don't have a clue what they are really talking about and I have embarrassed myself way too many times saying something off-the-wall out of context. Online, I never miss a word...I love that part about online conversations!

IRL I am a nice caring way-too-people pleasing person. I don't get in many arguments because life is just too short for that. I'm the same online...you won't ever find me getting in the middle of (or starting) an unkind thread (FoRT mods delete faster than people can flame so it's not a problem here). I try not to insult people but I love a lighthearted humorous spat now and then

Mrcorkles, I've seen your posts here and there for a long time, and I've never thought you unfriendly or unkind--quite the opposite, in fact. I think certain people take things literally instead of tongue-in-cheek. So, please, don't feel bad or beat yourself up about it.

Oh, I agree! mrcorkles, you alway post interesting, funny and nice things! Sometimes it's easy for someone to take what we post in the wrong way...but I sure haven't seen anything that would be offensive from you! Keep on posting!

    i'm quite different

online, i'm more open, cheeky, polite (at most times ) then i would be offline. Offline, i'm more quiet, paranoid, not as polite to people. but overall, my opinions of things are the same offline and online.

RL: I, too, cuss like a sailor. I'm pretty damn funny. Crazier than a loon. Act like I'm 14, but I really am 90, not 44 as I claim. Much more outgoing than I appear online. RL and online: don't intentionally cross me, especially when it comes to my kids.

Online: My jokes here are often taken seriously because my delivery just doesn't translate. But I am kidding, I promise, unless I'm being serious, of course. I tend to spin stories online, keep it interesting - after all, it's just a game. That's why it's not called "real life". I'm a good listener, I'm loyal and your secrets are safe with me. And as in RL, I'm not as obsessed with KR as I make it sound. Again - it's just a game.

I guess I left out I too tend to cuss, I wouldn't say a lot, but enough. Only when I am around certain people though, when I am with family or girls I try not to swear. Its a bad habit I have had for years and am trying to stop cussing so much. Its hard to not swear when I am driving or playing sports though. I also act very cocky in here and in real life, but its all in good fun.

I always thought you were pretty funny online. But what do I know. You always have seemed just fine to me online.

Alright, you caught me... I'm not really a Canadian BEd. Student/Daycare worker... I am a secret operative of the CIA trying to infiltrate this site. I've been told to "Take this jakeass down"... but please keep it quiet... I could get in a lot of trouble for telling anyone.
