I only ever go to Texas on vacation, but I have been meaning to sneak a week where me and the husband can visit Louisiana. I want a swamp tour, and an orgy of eating seafood.

Could you ever get enough of seafood? I know I couldn't. I swear, I can go to the "All you can eat crablegs" night at Red Lobster and my hands will get all cramped up and full of cuts from breaking shells long before I get my fill.

So I can only imagine the "real" seafood you'd get down in Louisianna.

    Yummmmm

btw lalol, I have been to Hong Kong, you have a magical city there. Exquisite.

We did make a stop in the heart of Cajun country, Winnie, Texas, and had some crawfish etoufee and stuffed shrimp in this roadhouse full of stuffed animals including a gator

It was a little offputting seeing all that taxidermied game, but a lot of Cajun folk still live off the land.
