I second Barbados. I've been there quite a few times with work. Nothing like sipping cold Banks Beer, which IMO, is the best beer on the planet. Add that to a flying fish sandwich and you'll never want to leave.

HarbourLights: did you get your screen name from the night club called Harbor Lights in Barbados?

One place we have visited that I loved, Mackinac Island Michigan. We went for the Lilac Festival. The lilacs weren't in bloom yet. It was still beautiful. We stayed several days at a B&B in Mackinaw City. We are going back in July.

Vegas - One of the most amazing cities in the world! I love Vegas. Very visually stimulating. Hmm...there is actually so much to do there.
    Hotels to visit -
Bellagio - Just plain nice to look at, very pretty be sure to see the fountain show outside, its great!
Venetian - great architecture and paintings, indoor and outdoor gondola rides
Mirage - Volcano (outside) and the gardens inside
MGM Grand - 5,000 room hotel--largest one in Vegas!
Stratosphere - amazing view of the strip espeically at night
Caesar's Palace - Forum Shops are great! Kinda like a small mall if you like to shop
Mandalay Bay - Though I haven't been there (damn!), I heard that it has a great huge wave pool.
Hard Rock Hotel - One of the best clubs for teens, I've heard (if you have teens with you, of course)
Paris - The view looks good but I haven't been up to the top

I've been there but you won't miss anything if you don't get to see them from the inside:
    New York, New York
    Bally's
    Aladdin
    Luxor* Not sure
    Excalibur* Not sure

Food - Rio's seafood buffet is supposedly the best one in the city!
All over vegas, foos is pretty great, no complaints. Ooh, Cheesecake factory in the Forum Shops was yummy. Some hotels even have food courts, like the Venetian. I also heard that MGM Grand has a McDonalds and a food court.
Remember that you only live once, and if you do it just right, once is just enough.
