It didn't work for me either. I don't care how soft my underarms were, no one could get close enough to me to tell.

Re: FORTers' consumer reports

I've used Dry Idea antiperspirant for years, and have always been extremely satisfied. "Raise Your Hands If You're Sure"!

Does anyone else, besides me, put on the product and then wipe off any white that might be showing? There is nothing worse than that white yucky look.

Re: FORTers' consumer reports

I use degree clear, so I have no white yucky stuff to wipe off.

Did you know that if you have a problem with foot odor and sweaty feet, you can use anti-perspirant on your feet? My daughter's doctor told her to do that.

Re: FORTers' consumer reports

My mom's doctor told her that it was also ok to use under her bra band to stay dry.

So WalMart had Dove products on sale 2/$6 so I bought everything. I know my mom likes the cool cucumber scent so I got her the entire line. I tried the shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair and it's a little too heavy for my hair I think I'll try the volumizing set and see if that makes a difference. The anti-perspirant is just OK. It lasted most of the day but it wore out by the end of the day.
Thanks for sharing!

Me too. Thanks BFD for the idea. Now maybe my husband will quit griping about baby powder all over the bathroom. I can't seem to get the powder on me without getting it everywhere else too. Speaking of, I really like the fairly new lavender scent Johnson's baby powder. I know it's been out for a few years, but I prefer that to regular baby powder smell.

Re: FORTers' consumer reports

I usually use Trader Joe's unscented deodorant, but on "sweaty Betty" days I use Almay unscented clear gel antiperspirant. Those are the only products that don't make my pits itch. And they work for me.

Every day is a day like that for me.

I have tried so many different deoderants and only Degree works for me.
I think it's totally unfair that my husband who has a job that requires him to get sweaty, nasty, dirty never, ever needs deoderant and doesn't wear it and if I don't wear it, I can't walk from the bathroom to the front door without offending myself and scaring the dogs whose main goal in life is to roll in smelly stuff.

That is very unfair! But thank goodness there's a pit product for every type of body chemistry!
