Ok the supernatural freaks me right out. I have goosebumps reading this thread! I dont think I have ever had an encounter with a ghostly spirit or what have you. My problem is I have very vivid dreams about normal day to day things and situations. The freaky part is that months later the situation actually takes place and I can change the outcome by knowing what didnt work the first time. creepy
now none of you will talk to me because thats just freakish![]()

My bigger concern with the supernatural are the dreams that I get that tend to come true.

Duxxy - I too have had dreams about normal day-to-day stuff that have come true - much more detailed and stronger than dejavu. But by the time I figure out I'm seeing something from a dream, it's done with or I'm there and there's nothing I can change about it. It's usually something soooooo mundane that you wouldn't think of changing it.
One time I had a very vivid dream that I was sitting in a room whose wall were all pastel green and I was talking to a person with huge afro-like hair. I was asking her what she did in the afternoons after class. Half a year later, I was an exchange student for a semester to Mexico, and I was sitting in the kitchen when I suddenly realized that all four walls were this pastel green tile & I had just asked one of my friends that question about what she did in the afternoons. I remember I kinda blinked and looked at her again, and she had wild curly hair that was a bit frizzy that day.
So I don't know if there was a point to this dream...I like to think it means I'm on the right track or something. But how would I know if I were on the wrong track?

My friend, the same one with the ghost in her house said that she dreams things that eventually come true all the time. It's really weird.
Yes, reading this thread late at night creeps me out, too!
I want an Ouija board!
Ok, so I guess that talking with ghosts could be a bit creepy, and I don't like the idea of sitting in a dark room with my mom (since all my friends live far, far away).
I looked for this online today and found nothing for less than $75. The problem is I am really interested in reading this book now and cannot bring myself to pay that much for a used paperback. Drats! I love a good scary story.Originally Posted by Shazzer

Unless he's hungry for human flesh.
But no, I don't believe in the supernatural. Ghost stories are like the Apocrypha of the Bible - interesting but dubious.
I am convinced that the dead contact us in some way just to keep us safe.
