I'll give you one guess at what my name is. My name is the most popular girl name according to the Social Security website if you add up both ways how to spell it. I like it it's hebrew for princess, so I own a lot of items with that on it. My Dad tells me I am named after an old "friend" of his but I still think there was something else going on there.

I like my name now, but when I was growing up I absolutely hated it. Not because it could be made to mean nicknames (it can't), but just because I wanted a more common name. I didn't meet anyone sharing the same name until I was over 20 years old. Now, of course, I love having a rare name.

Originally my parents wanted to name me after my grandma, but my grandma wanted my aunt to name aunt's daughter after her (grandma). Just so happened that my aunt never had a daughter, only sons And now nobody is named after my grandma. I would have named my daughter after her, but so happens that I only have sons as well
ps. This is just my opinion in the matter.

I go by my middle name, too. And I love it, it suits me perfectly. My parents originally considered naming me "Jessica," and no offense to any Jessicas out there, but I'm not one. So I'm glad they changed their minds.

I hope you're not saying that your name is not Lucy?

So, since Jewelsy calls you Lucy Loo, does that mean you go by Loo?

If I did, Unk, I don't think I'd say it suits me perfectly.
