    Escape from Cuba.

Losers are either caught by the Coast Guard and sent back or are lost at sea. The winner is the first one to safely reach American soil. The prize is US citizenship.

Heck, it happens every day. The networks might as well capitalize on it!

Here's one I already shared with some other folks in a different forum. Fits better here, though.

As we were rushing to board the 10:10AM ferry from Larkspur into The City, it occurred to me that it would be great TV if we were actually on "The Amazing Family Race". Same concept as TAR, but each team has to have at least two kids (preferably under the age of 5) in order to compete. I had that crazy TAR music in my head all the way to the pier in the afternoon, as I huffed along with my 5-year-old on my shoulders. We made the 4:45PM return ferry with about a minute to spare. We were the only team to make the 4:45.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Great idea Paulie. But could the reward possibly be worth the punishment?
