I would kill to have a breast reduction...a nice B works for me. I would also like whiter teeth and a little lipo around my hips, thighs and tummy. Unfortunatley, there is no way I could ever afford this and I have this phobia about surgery.

Hey, B, check into insurance on the breast reduction.

    Like Marley, I've had it.

Having suffered from chronic back and shoulder pain, grooves in the shoulders from deadly, cutting bra straps, poor posture (I'm still slightly round-shouldered from the weight that pulled me forward for so many years), etc., trust me, it's a whole new life! It's GREAT! I mean, you can actually see your feet when you stand up!

Things I'd want to have done:

Nose job. Lasik (for a person with eyeball issues, this one is really pushing it). Teeth. Lipo around the tummy. Correction of hereditary thinning of hair. Possibly a tiny enhancement of my calves (but that would not really be a "had to have"). Possibly a little junk put in the trunk (definitely not a "had to have").

I would never, ever ever get surgery. Ever. I would only get some teeth whitening.

I would want...tummy tuck and breast lift...as others have said repairing the baby damage. Some sort of chemical peel on my face to take care of scrars. Teeth whitening and lasik. Lipo on my middle and thighs. Someone to help me pick out a hair color as I'm beginning to grey and I can't figure out what to color it.

I am so glad I started this thread. Everyone seems to be enjoying it and all of the posts are amazing and diverse. I love the way that most posters qualify their reply by saying that, overall, they are happy with themselves right now but if its a wish-list and free...

I guess I was also (pleasantly) surprised to see that the, overwhelming majority of women who mentioned that they would want some sort of breast augmentation, would want either a simple lift or reduction. The media would have us believe that - based on what many celebrities are doing - that every woman would kill to look like Pam Anderson. Its nice to know that most women would be happy with a perky set of B or C cups.

I have an additional question to add to the thread; have any posters ever had or considered getting permanent make-up tattoos?

I work with a woman who has had this type of procedure done. She has permanent eye liner, lip liner, eyebrow shading and eye shadow shading. She says that she loves not having to deal with the time and expense of putting on make-up every day and loves waking up "with her face on". FYI, her work was not done in a traditional tattoo parlor and there are now specialists that do this type of tattoo work - usually under a general anesthesia.

Would this be something you would consider?

I was going to ask this one last night and it slipped my mind. (can I get a memory augmentation?) My daughter is quite blonde, and for some reason - she has "sparse" eyebrows. She wants to get eyebrows done - (it is pretty obvious) - and she is also considering eyeliner. My (ex) husband's sister had her eyes, (liner and brows), and lips done. She is beautiful and it hasn't faded. Which would be my concern. I've had my tattoo on my ankle for about 12 years, and it has faded a bit. I don't think I'd want my eyeliner and lipstick permanently faded on my face. So what do y'all think?
