For those of you who don't know, Eid signifies the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting from dawn till dusk.

Good job, Amna. My best wishes to the Muslims on this as well.

Two weeks ago I was playing basketball defending a guy I've played against for a year. In that year, I've managed to block him maybe twice. However, on that night I blocked him six times - I was stoaked! Last week I mentioned to one of the other guys how happy I'd been with my performance. The guy replies "Oh yeah, Mahmoud was really struggling last week - it's Ramadan and the guy had no energy." I felt so lame!

too funny Wayner. I concur on the Happy Eid thoughts of this thread and would like to add Happy Chanukkah to our Jewish friends and relatives, as it started last week and will be ending soon.

Agreed on that one too, LG. And of course, I have another funny story.

My wife and I were driving home from seeing Ocean's Eleven, and we were discussing who would have been better in the Julia Roberts role. My wife suggested J Lo, and I said "No, I think Catherine Zeta-Jones would have been better. I can't see the Andy Garcia character dating J Lo; I don't think he would have dated anyone that wasn't a WASP." My wife looked at me for a moment and said seriously "Catherine Zeta-Jones is Jewish?"
