    I haven't but I would love to.

A lady I work with did...she used to have to wear those coke bottle glasses her eyes were so bad. Now she is 20/20 and has been for about 7 yrs.

Just make sure you find a really good doctor.

I believe our own moderator Paulie had LASIK more than a year ago.

I had LASIK in 1997 and it went great!!! My eyesight used to be so bad I couldn't even read the big E on the chart. My vision was -8 in each eye and that's bad. It has been 20/20 since 1997 and still going well. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I had to.

Had it two years ago and love it! Before surgery my vision was 20/2400. Ten minutes later it was 20/20. Amazing.

I want to get it done, how much is it or does it all depend on how bad your eyes are?

I would love to get this done, but it just looks too scary! I've seen it done on tv, and they actually slice into your eye, don't they? I might consider it if I could be asleep during it. Do you have to be awake?

I'm not sure how much it costs either but I would love to have it done. My eyesight has deteriorated so much since I turned 40, I couldn't read a phone book without bright lights and my glasses if my life depended on it.

I did it when it first came out and it was 5000$ Canadian, now it's 2000$ Canadian. nlmcp, it doesn't matter how bad your eyesight is, it's the same price.

Terena, I'm a big chicken for things but trust me it really isn't bad. They freeze your eye and you honestly don't feel it, atleast I didn't it.

I'm sure they could give you valium or something to soothe you (had it when I got my wisdom teeth pulled and it was wonderful, really)
