I got a Christmas Cd this year, the WOW Christmas cd. It's a compilation of Christian artists, and has some beautiful songs.

I really like the song "Mary Did You Know"

And this one, which isn't very well known:

"A Strange Way to Save the World"

I'm sure he must have been surprised
At where this road had taken him
Cause never in a million lives
Would he have dreamed of Bethlehem
    And standing at the manger
He saw with his own eyes
The message from the angel come to life
    And Joseph said:

    CHORUS
Why me, I'm just a simple man of trade
Why Him with all the rulers in the world
Why here inside this stable filled with hay
Why her, she's just an ordinary girl
Now I'm not one to second-guess
    What angels have to say
But this is such a strange way to save the world.
    ~~

To think of how it could have been
If Jesus had come as He deserved
There would have been no Bethlehem
No lowly shepherds at His birth
But Joseph new the reason love had to reach so far
And as he held the Savior in his arms
    He must have thought:

    CHORUS

Kylie,, this is one that is similar from Michael Card,, it is called Josephs song I love it!

How could it be this baby in my arms
    Sleeping now, so peacefully
The Son of God, the angel said
    How could it be
Lord I know He's not my own
Not of my flesh, not of my bone
Still Father let this baby be
    The son of my love
    Chorus 2
Father show me where I fit into this plan of yours
How can a man be father to the Son of God
Lord for all my life I've been a simple carpenter
How can I raise a king, How can I raise a king
He looks so small, His face and hands so fair
And when He cries the sun just seems to disappear
But when He laughs it shines again
    How could it be

Love Barenaked Ladies doing We three Kings/God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen. They do it wonderfully plus I have a file of them doing it live, when they sing "the scarey verse" of we Three Kings...it is cute.

I still can't figure out what all you folks have against the barking christmas dogs doing Jingle Bells.

Like many above, I will post the lyrics here:

    Woof Woof Woof,
    Woof Woof Woof,

    Woof, Woof, Bark Bark, Woof
Bark Woof Bark, Woof Woof Woof,
    Woof Woof Bark Bark Bark...

    (repeat several times...)

    Wow Bill!
When you really look at the lyrics there is a great deal of depth and meaning there. I may have to change my vote.
